Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Two, three or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a whiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday are geared toward beginner play.
Tuesday and Thursday is intended for the Intermediate/Advanced players.

Essential Pickleball Rules

The Two-Bounce Rule: After the serve, the receiving team must let the ball bounce before hitting it, and the serving team must also let it bounce before returning it.
Serving: Serves must be underhand, hit in an upward arc, and made diagonally crosscourt. The serve must clear the non-volley zone (kitchen).
Non-Volley Zone: (The "Kitchen"): A player cannot volley the ball (hit it before it bounces) while standing in the kitchen or touching the kitchen line.
Scoring: Only the serving team can score points.
Faults: A fault occurs if the ball lands out of bounds, fails to clear the net, hits a player, or if a player violates the two-bounce or kitchen rules.

Game Mechanics & Serving

Serving Turn: In doubles, both partners get a chance to serve (except on the first service turn of the game).
Positioning: Servers must have at least one foot behind the baseline.
Game End: Games are typically played to 11 points, winning by a margin of two points.
