OPAlert_MOCK_01The Village of Orland Park has launched “OP Alert,” a new emergency notification system that will keep residents informed while saving taxpayer dollars. Powered by Everbridge, OP Alert is being provided to the Village of Orland Park at no cost through the Cook County Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security.

OP Alert provides residents with timely information directly through phone calls, text messages and email notifications. Notifications may include emergency incidents, severe weather, traffic and road closures and other public safety advisories.  

Current subscribers to the previous Emergency Notification System have been transitioned to the system. Residents who would like to update their contact information or notification preferences may create an Everbridge account by clicking the link below. 

The Everbridge mobile app is also available for Apple and Android devices, allowing users to receive push notifications directly on their phones. Residents can search for “Orland Park” within the app to enroll or enable location services to receive alerts specific to their area.
