Amazon has selected Orland Park for a retail development at 159th Street and LaGrange Road. 

 

At the January 19th, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting, a Petitioner requested approval for an Amazon Retail planned development at 9600 159th Street. The Village Board voted to approve the proposed project.

At the September 2, 2025 Board of Trustees meeting, the Village Board passed an ordinance approving the site plan, landscape plan and elevations for Weber Grill (14210 LaGrange Road).

At the September 15, 2025 Board of Trustees meeting, the Village Board approved a parking lot and gas station expansion for the Orland Park Costco (9915 W 159th Street). This expansion will move the gas station to the other side of Ravinia Avenue and increase the number of pumps from 12 to 40. Costco has agreed to fully fund a new roundabout on Ravinia Avenue at the entrance to their parking lot.
