Application Requirements

Permits are required for all water heater installations. The fee for a permit is $95.00. The following is needed to apply for permit:

• The contractor must be a licensed plumbing contractor (Copy of current 055- state license)
• Letter of Intent from licensed plumbing contractor with incorporated seal
• The total cost of all work

Inspections Required

An inspection is required by the plumbing inspector upon completion of the work. Please submit an inspection request. Inspection requests are not taken over the phone. We do not accept same day inspection requests.

Regular inspection hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
