Application Requirements

The following is needed to apply for permit:

A recent plat of survey, showing proposed shed location, noting distance to structures and lot lines
Contractor's information, if one is being used
Signed copy of Shed Installation Rules and Requirements
If shed is being built, include framing plan & materials being used

Restrictions

A permit is required for installation of all sheds. The permit fee is $150.

Maximum lot coverage is limited for each zoning district. See the Land Development Code, Article 6, Part 2, District Regulations for complete information.

Inspections Required

A pre-pour inspection of the base and forms is required. A final inspection is required once the work has been completed and prior to any materials being stored in the shed. Please submit an inspection request online or email inspectionrequest@orlandpark.org. Inspections are not taken over the phone.
