The Village of Orland Park hosted its annual "Great Pumpkin Party" on October 6 at the Centennial Park Warming House, 15600 West Avenue.

"The village's Pumpkin Party was well received and attended by many families," said Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin. "To continue to improve our events, we are asking people to give their input on what they would like to see or do at events like this," the mayor said.

The "We Want To Know" area of the village's website, in the left margin at currently includes a survey asking those who attended "The Great Pumpkin Party" and families in general to share their thoughts and suggestions.

"We hope people will visit the village's website to let us know which Pumpkin Party activities they enjoyed," said Trustee Pat Gira, chair of the village's Recreation and Parks Committee. "This is a great opportunity to let the village know if we're on track and to share ideas for next year's event," Gira added.

The Pumpkin Party Survey asks respondents to rate the importance of the various activities on their decision to attend the event, how they heard about the party, questions about the quality of specific activities and concessions, what types of activities they'd like to see included in the future.

To show appreciation for the feedback, respondents will be entered to win a fall treat basket that includes a one month Sportsplex membership, two Marcus Theater tickets and more.
The survey will be available until November 18. For more information, call the village's Recreation Department at 708/403-7275.
