Village of Orland Park’s Annual Curbside Spring Clean-Up Set for  Week of April 6

Orland Park, IL (April 3, 2026) – Spring is almost here, and with it comes the Village of Orland Park’s annual Curbside Spring Clean-Up. This year’s collection will be offered on residents’ regular garbage pick-up days during the week of April 6-10, 2026.

Orland Park’s Curbside Spring Clean-Up is held in cooperation with the Village’s refuse hauler, Waste Management. Residents should place all trash and bulk items curbside by 6 a.m. on their scheduled pick-up day in an orderly manner,  bagged, contained or bundled, with no loose garbage.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Waste Management to offer the Village’s curbside spring clean-up,” said Mayor Jim Dodge. “Now in its 13th year, this program has become a popular way for residents to responsibly dispose of unwanted household items. We’re pleased to provide this convenient service to our community once again.”

Residents may dispose of durable goods and household items such as furniture, textiles and carpets, as well as white goods including washers, dryers and refrigerators. Doors must be removed from all appliances before being placed at the curb to prevent children from playing on or inside them.

Residents looking to dispose of or recycle electronics and other materials not accepted during Curbside Spring Clean-Up Week may utilize the At Your Door program and schedule a pickup.

Orland Park’s At Your Door program, provided by Waste Management, offers safe disposal and recycling of home-generated special materials. Accepted items include paints, household cleaners, compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), automotive products, garden chemicals, batteries, electronics and more.

Residents may visit www.wmatyourdoor.com to complete a request form. Pickup requests can also be made by calling (800) 449-7587 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. This program is available to Village residents only and is not offered to businesses.

For additional information, residents may contact Waste Management at (800) 796-9696.
