Orland Park, IL (May 27, 2025) — The Orland Park Police Department today announced it issued 78 citations during the Memorial Day “Click It or Ticket” enforcement period.

“Through the Memorial Day enforcement campaign, we helped make Illinois roads safer and spread the word that seat belts save lives,” said Chief of Police Eric Rossi.

During the enforcement period, the Orland Park Police Department wrote 78 citations for seat belt violations and took the following additional actions:

• 2 child car seat citations
• 2 fugitives apprehended
• 2 suspended/revoked license
• 2 uninsured motorist citations
• 2 drug arrests
• 6 miscellaneous citations
