The Village of Orland Park has a watermain leak on 88th Avenue, just south of 167th avenue. Due to the location of the watermain, North bound 88th Avenue will be closed and detour signs will be posted. The repair is scheduled for Monday morning (3/9/2026). Thank you for your patience.
Did you know that using shells in arts and crafts dates all the way back to the ancient period? By the eighteenth century, shellwork had become a popular craft for upper-class Victorian ladies. In this historic craft workshop, participants will learn about the history of Victorian shell art and "sailor's valentines," then have the opportunity to create their own shell mosaic to take home.
